Overview
DPM Paint is a specialist moisture-proof coating designed to provide a robust damp-proof membrane on masonry, concrete and blockwork. The two-coat system forms a high-performance barrier, helping prevent rising and penetrating damp in basements, cellars and new build slabs.
Key benefits
- Effective damp-proofing: forms a continuous barrier on suitably prepared substrates.
- Versatile substrate use: brick, blockwork, concrete slabs and masonry.
- Easy application: brush, roller or spray; two-coat system for full protection.
- Durable finish: suitable for internal floor slabs and wall areas requiring moisture control.
- Technical compliance: meets relevant regulation/specification for DPM systems (refer to datasheet).
Typical applications
- Basements and cellars requiring DPM protection
- New build slabs over ground where moisture barrier needed
- Masonry and blockwork walls prone to rising/penetrating damp
How to apply
- Ensure substrate is clean, dry, sound and properly prepared.
- Apply first coat with brush, roller or spray at specified rate.
- After drying/cure, apply second coat to complete barrier.
- Allow appropriate cure time before loading or over-coating. See technical datasheet.
