Overview

The easy-off Graffiti Removal Kit puts a safe graffiti remover, cleaning accessories and basic PPE into one tough, recyclable cardboard box with a carry handle. It is designed for removing graffiti tags and spray paint from smooth, non-porous surfaces such as play park equipment, street furniture, bus shelters and subways.

The kit is designed with user safety in mind, so it can be handed out at community clean-up days and used by non-specialists: community groups, schools, Scout groups and local residents. It also suits premises that need to remove tags from non-porous surfaces quickly, without specialist equipment. Where to use it

Use the kit on smooth, non-porous surfaces: plastic panels, powder-coated street furniture, metal signage, composite panels and other non-porous public realm fixtures. Typical places include lamp posts, bus shelters, cabinets, kiosks, play parks, subways and underpasses.

It is not the right choice for heavy graffiti on porous brick, stone or concrete. The remover can work on some porous surfaces, but for masonry use a specialist liquid or gel remover.

How to use it

1. Prepare: put on the goggles and gloves. Lay protective sheeting where needed and make sure you can reach the surface.
2. Test on a small, hidden area first.
3. Apply the remover undiluted to the tag by spraying, brushing or wiping it on.
4. Leave it for 3–4 minutes to penetrate.
5. Wipe, scrub or rinse off the remover and graffiti using the cloths, wipes and brush, then wipe over with a clean damp cloth.
6. Repeat on heavy or stubborn tags. Afterwards, dispose of used wipes, cloths and rinse water responsibly, and recycle the box.

Choosing a size

The kit is sold singly. Its 500 ml of remover treats roughly 2–5 m², based on coverage of 4–10 m² per litre depending on the surface. For bigger areas or repeat use, the remover and the wipes are also sold separately.

Good to know

• Wear the goggles and gloves supplied. The remover can cause serious eye irritation. If it gets in the eyes, rinse cautiously with water for several minutes.
• Always patch-test before treating the whole mark.
• Ventilation: work in a well-ventilated area.
• Run-off and waste: do not let the remover enter drains. Dispose of wipes, cloths and rinse water responsibly.
• Storage: keep the remover sealed in a cool, dry place. Shelf life is 12 months.
