Overview

Graffiti Remover Gel is a super-thick gelled graffiti removal fluid engineered for hard-to-clean surfaces. Its viscous formula maintains contact with both porous and non-porous substrates, dissolving spray-paint, permanent ink, marker, and dye-based graffiti media. Safe for plastics and polycarbonate, non-flammable (flash point > 65°C), pH neutral and compliant with COSHH & CHIPP.

Key benefits

  • Gel formulation: thick consistency extends contact time for better penetration into graffiti media and surfaces.
  • Universal substrate use: designed for non-porous (metal, plastic, glass) and porous (brick, concrete) surfaces.
  • Plastic & polycarbonate safe: tested safe on plastics, reducing risk of surface damage.
  • Professional grade but public-friendly: chosen by commercial cleaning companies and usable by general public.
  • Ease of use: apply undiluted by spray, brush or wipe; leave for ~3-4 minutes; rinse or wipe off.

Typical applications

  • Tag removal from outdoor structures (walls, panels, subways)
  • Cleaning graffiti from smooth hard surfaces: metal, glass, plastic panels, powder-coated furniture
  • Restoration of infrastructure, public realm assets, hoardings, signage

How to use

  1. Use undiluted — apply directly to the graffiti area by brush, spray or wipe.
  2. Allow a dwell time of approximately 3-4 minutes (or more on heavy tags) to let the gel act.
  3. On very old or stubborn graffiti, agitate surface with a green nylon pad while still wet.
  4. Rinse or wipe the surface with clean water or damp cloth to remove the dissolved graffiti media. Repeat if needed.

Frequently asked questions

What surfaces can the Graffiti Remover Gel be used on?

It works on both porous surfaces (brick, concrete) and non-porous surfaces (metal, glass, plastic, polycarbonate).

How long do I leave the product on the graffiti?

Leave approx. 3-4 minutes for the gel to penetrate before wiping or rinsing.

Is it safe to use on plastic or polycarbonate?

Yes — the formula has been tested and is safe for plastics and polycarbonate surfaces.

What is the coverage rate?

Approximately 4-10 m² per litre, depending on the porosity of the substrate.

Does it require special PPE or is it user-friendly?

Though professional grade, the product is usable by non-specialists; standard PPE (gloves, eye protection) is still recommended.

How does the gel formulation benefit cleaning?

The thick gel ensures longer contact time with the graffiti media and surface, improving removal performance compared to liquid formulations.

Is it environmentally compliant?
